Just getting caught up on low key E3 news and stumbled upon this new MMOFPS called Global Agenda. Sounds like it may have what it takes to impress you FPS fans with some added MMO.

"In a nutshell, Global Agenda plays beautifully.  It was actually hard to walk away from this game.  Please understand, I was at freakin' E3.  Beautiful, alluring games surrounded me, tempting me with their siren songs.  But the gameplay in Global Agenda was so riveting, it was like an electromagnet, and it wouldn't let me go to them.  I simply had to play for a few minutes more.  Truth is, I wanted to play for hours, and I haven't felt this way about a game in a long, long time.  Agents vs Elves

I dig MMO action and I love me some Unreal Tourny, so this is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Remember Huxley? It was mentioned awhile back promising to be the first cross-platform MMOFPS that would bring 100vs100 action.  I know,.. I pretty much forgot about it too.
Well Joystiq surfaced with an interview with Project Manager Andy Hong.

"It's been quite some time since we've heard anything about Huxley (before the recent bout of screens and video) -- what happened? Why the media blackout?
Again, I'm not absolutely sure what happened there but in the year or so since we've been working on Huxley, there was some acclimation time needed. We needed to acclimate to the game and be really knowledgeable about it before talking to the press.

Is there a release date set or at least a target window for release?
Later this year. Q4 2009 (before the end of 2009).."

Will it start RTS on Xbox rolling? It would be funny if it did with no Ensemble to follow up.

I played couple of missions and lost my first 2 vs. 2. I felt bad going in while having no idea what to do, but I could not wait. I usually do campaign first. The game went as expected - one of the opponents quickly resigned. I build some stuff, went of a couple of successful raids. Then, on the third raid, my army was decimated by enemy who proceed to wipe out my base. Once dead, I looked at the stats and had aha moment: Wow, you can build more than one TC (I mean base)! The two players who knew what they are doing continued to nuke it out.

Xbox.com Halo Wars forum is talking stategy, rushes and overpowered units, and Tech Tree is there to download. Compared to AoE games, it is a very light-weight RTS, but it is very easy to pick up and play. I'm sure those who never played PC RTS do not know what they are missing. (This is a compliment to the game, not an attack on it.)
